Low Light Camera
Light intensifiying video camera.
The unique Low Light camera has been used on many award-winning television documentaries including David Attenborough’s The Life of Mammals and The Life of Birds, and the American hit reality TV show Survivor. The camera is now available for general hire.
The Low Light camera shoots broadcast quality digital images under the light of the moon and stars without the need of artificial illumination. As you can see from the screen grabs featured on this site, the results are stunning. Click here to see more Low Light screen grabs.
The camera is available for hire as a full kit, complete with Sony DSR1 DVCAM back, Canon and Zeiss high-speed prime lenses, dockable batteries and charger. The camera is also sensitive to infrared and infrared LED lights are also available for hire.
Camera Hire
The camera can be hired with or without operator, however, this is a unique and complex instrument and I strongly recommend the hiring of an experienced operator.
Low Light hire is quoted on a per day basis, with a week charged at day rate times 4. Hirers are responsible for insuring the camera and proof of this is required prior to hire.
